Post up your 3dMark06 scores. If your not running 06 post a earlier version. I would but I've only got 06 right now. Downloaded the latest drivers (162.22) for Vista 64bit today and my score jumped 17 points. 6 points in SM2.0, 5 points in HDR/SM3.0, and CPU scores jumped 9 points. It appears there slowly closing the performance gap between Vista & XP. Anyways heres mine. Vista Score XP Score (Don't have one uploaded with 3525Mhz & 850Mhz Mem clock think my highest is 11,690 with those settings)

wow, awesome scores, are you running oc'ed at all? My specs and results are below: ABIT KV8 MAX3 SKT. 754 AMD Athlon 3200+ @ 2.45ghz (2.2ghz standard) BFG Nvidia Geforce 7800 GS OC @ 533/1446 (400/1250 standard) 1.5GB PC3200 DDR 300GB Seagate IDE With graphics standard: 2903 With graphics oc'ed: 3558 (cpu was oc'ed for both tests) so yea, i think you beat me, lol, i plan on getting a good zalman and case, i currently have a crappy gateway case ive modded to hold this board, i think once i get the new zalman cpu cooler instead of this crappy standard, i can oc it a lot more, but as of now, i dont have any fancy dual core rigs or anything, im workin at it though EDIT: i looked closer at your pictures, and saw that you are running oc'ed, what cooler do you use?

Ya I have not gotten around to making my sig yet probally should do that lol.
Graphics card is clocked at the following order Core/Memory/Shader Clock
OC@675/2016/1566 Fan @ 80% duty cycle Stock@500/1600/1200
I'm also using a Zalman 9700Led cooler. Can't run it at those speeds though in the daytime when its 90F plus so those are like my current nighttime and cool day clocks. Normally I run 3.3Ghz when its like 90F+ outside to keep it around 60C.
I'm rather curious to see what Corey can come up with he's got a high end AMD system with the same GPU type.
Your scores pretty good for that graphics card when I had my X1650Pro 512mb I only got around 2,700.
You use ATI tool, Riva tuner or Ntune for you GPU overclocking?

wow nice clocks, i really think when i get a new cpu cooler i can oc that AMD pretty far hopefully, if not ill get some water cooling for somethin to try out
ya i use Riva Tuner simply because it lets me control the fan, and my fan is crazy loud, i run it 25% in 2d mode and 40% in 3d mode, and it has never reached 50c since its a copper cooler, bfg really designed it well

Not really sure to much about AMD temps and whats good or bad. Thats pretty crazy your running into temp problems at a 250mhz increase. Did yo have to increase the Vcore much to get there? Have you tried lowering you HT multiplier down to 4? Thats about all I know on AMD's talk to Rudster he's really good with OCing them.
Ya but if you are running into heat prob's then a new HSF should get you up at least another 200-400mhz.
Nice temps my GPU runs around 55C @ 80% around 50-51C @ 100%. Cold days I can hit mid 40's though.
Summer temps really do suck. I was thinking about buying a Air conditioner for my room and facing it at my computer.

nice not bad at all, i went through 3 DOA psu's for my custom, i was about to just give up... now im really working on getting a dual core desktop, its not gonnna be an uber fast one, but if i get a 4k amd processor and oc it, it'll run fine for me, and if you get those 5 customers you can add a 19" LCD monitor to that setup too
